What is the best way to discover the top takeaways in your town? Most people have their favourite takeaway, but can be a question of luck as well. If you find a good one, and have a positive experience, you are more likely to recommend to friends and family
There are certain key elements that are influential in making a takeaway become a regular in your choice:
1. Is the restaurant or takeaway close to where you live? It is worth considering if you are able to walk to the takeaway or restaurant quite regularly. Ask the takeaway company whether they have a decent delivery service.
2. How well would the service rate in your estimation? It is important for the overall impression of the place by assisting you to decide if your experience was a pleasant one. A determining fact could be the local knowledge demonstrated by the takeaway company. Generally speaking, a poor knowledge of the local area leads to a slow delivery service.
3. Payment flexibility, and the way in which the establishment dealt with your payment. I find nothing worse than the completion of an order, to then be told that a credit card is not acceptable for payment. I feel this is slightly unprofessional and a little embarrassing, and seems like someone trying to avoid paying tax. This place I wouldn’t touch with a barge pole, as I have no feeling of confidence in them or their food.
4. Do these places provide enough information on how to order quickly and efficiently? Are they any ordering alternatives, if the leaflet normally lying the doormat has suddenly vanished? Nowadays, it is slightly strange if the Indian takeaways doesn’t have an online ordering facility.
It is fairly safe to say, that if an establishment has gone to the trouble of providing a decent level of service, then the quality of food should be assured.
